Set Projected Monthly Income for Budget Planning

Currently, Kualia allocates all money that flows into an account to "Ready to Assign" and requires users to budget from whatever actually arrived. I would prefer to set a projected monthly income amount upfront and budget from that fixed figure instead. This way, I can plan my budget based on my expected income, and any actual income above or below that projection wouldn't immediately change my budget allocation. This would allow for: - More predictable budgeting based on expected earnings - Separation between actual deposits and budgeted projections - Better planning when income varies month-to-month Instead of having to assign every dollar that lands in the account, I want to define my expected monthly income once and budget from that protected amount.

Hey Matt, another challenge coming your way: this is an envelope budget app, or a zero based budgeting system. Most users here expect to only be able to budget what they have. Not "forecast budgeting". What do you think about that? This request feels like it would be a pretty big change to the concept of the app, where you currently only assign money to your envelopes when you get paid, instead of assuming you will get paid. I'm leaning toward keeping it how it is, without projection/forecast based budgeting. However, I'm always open to be proven wrong. So, fire away and let me know your thoughts 🤝
